When I was a teenager I wasn’t much for shopping in the health and beauty section. My mom bought me some Love’s Baby Soft perfume when I was 13. I always liked the smell so I always used it. It was cheap being that a 15 oz bottle was only $6.00. I never realized how cheap it was until one day when I was cashiering a mom and her teenage daughter came through my line. I heard them giggle and whisper at how cheap my perfume smelt. My feelings were hurt needless to say and I stopped wearing that perfume.

A few years later I met a girl at my work wearing what I thought was a great smelling scent. It had a sharp but delicate flowery scent to it. I liked it a lot so I asked her what it was. She said it was Beautiful by Estee Lauder, which I found out later after doing some research online that this perfume was launched in 1985. Beautiful was quite expensive retailing for about $50.00. She told me that it wasn’t found at convenience stores. She also told me that this perfume was only sold at department stores like Dayton’s here in Minnesota.

I went a few years looking around for places that carried Beautiful but never found it. But then I never went shopping that much at department stores. I finally went ahead and bought Beautiful a year ago when I was 25. I was online and I came across a code for 25.00 off of 50.00 at www.Fragrance.net. I went ahead and bought a 2.5 oz bottle for $53.90. On the site is said that the size perfume retails for $55.00 in the offline stores. There are smaller sizes available for cheaper but I believe the larger one is the better deal. The bottle is nice and sleek looking. It is not bulky at all. It comes with a box you can safely store it in also.

I have had this for a year and have only used a quarter of the bottle. I say this perfume was well worth the buy especially if it lasts a few years. I don’t use it every day. I only put it on, on days I do not work. I work in a deli at a grocery store and so I don’t want to wear it at work. I say this perfume is best for daytime but can also be worn at night.

When I do wear it I spray one squirt into the air then wave my hand over it to get some on my wrists. This perfume is nice because it will last all day. This perfume gives true meaning to the saying, ’’a little dab will do you!’’ I like how I can spray it on early in the morning. Later on that night I could still detect the smell on my wrists. I like that this scent lasts a long time. My cheap Love’s Baby Soft perfume always lasted only a couple hours at the most.

When I spray the perfume on directly or more then one squirt then I find the smell becomes overwhelming. Once I spray this perfume the scent is quite strong for the first hour. I can hardly smell the perfume anymore after an hour. It starts to fade away as I get use to it. I know from past experience others are still able to smell it. I have gotten many compliments. I use to work at a gas station during the day. I would spray this on me in the early mornings and would be overwhelmed by the smell at work if I sprayed too much on. I have luckily learned to tame the smell down some so I do not annoy anyone.

Beautiful is the best smelling perfume I believe. I will always be buying this for now on. It is well worth the price and will last a long time.
