’’Barista’’ is a new coffee shop that has opened in B’lore on commercial street,right next to Coffee Day. ’’Barista ’’ (which means ’’bartender’’ in english) is an Italian coffee chain shop ,now ventured into India ,and I heard is already present in Bombay ’n Delhi. So it has brought along with it some new fresh attitude ,to the way in which u sip coffee .

     This new jazzy place ,where bright Orange is the colour code of all the decor here , has truely a style ’n friendly ambience of its own .This place invites u to spend time here, rather than the usual attitude of ’’okay ,the bill is paid ’n u ’ve had ur share of grub so now get out ’’.It has lots of board games for u to indulge in ,like chess , word scramblers ,a guitar to pluck some chords , ’n importantly nobody to disturb ur gang of friends ......feels something like a sophisticated college canteen.

     Coming to the blends,oh ,there r lots of new names for me to remember ,all these days i could ’ve blindly ordered the chilling cold coffee’s (capuchillos,mochachillos .....) whenever i entered coffee day which is another fav of mine ,but here there r plenty of ’em to try out apart from the usual ones like cappuchinos.Some of ’em I recall r the cool Americanos ,milkshakes , tropical Granitas like blue carucuo,green ice ,....plus varieties of sandwiches, pastries ,patties , rolls,tikkas ,cookies ....all in all lots to try out .

     This is a self service wing ,after which u can, choose where u want to be seated either on one of those cozy sitouts on the sofa ,or near the glass enclosure overlooking commercial street,or a simple table for an engrossing game of chess(dont u think there r lotz of ’’pretty distractions’’ around especially at commercials to settle for a game of chess ????) or just near a TV. Also while leaving dont forget to stick a message on the message board ’n read some whacky ones out there.
