I was with an european guest last week and we visited Barista coffee bar at Worli. It was actually my guests suggestion to which I supported (thinking of all the good experiences in the past with
other coffee bar outlets).
When we entered around 3.00pm, it was almost empty but for only one couple sitting in one corner. The attendents looked bored without any customers to serve and looked like they were not prepared to receive us.
We could easily find a table to seat and ordered two veg cheese sandwiches and Barrista cold coffee with ice cream.
We were quicky served within 8-10 minutes. The sandwiches were warm and the coffee was not so cold. The ice-cream was almost invisible in the tall glass.
Just as we started to have our first bite, suddenly 3-4 houseflies came buzzing from somewhere and occupied the glass rims. This was really disgusting and very unhygenic. To my surprise, I could not find any fly-kill (the electric devise with ultra-violet tubelights) in the restaurent - which I guess was a must particularly in such a well-known place.
We had to somehow finish our snacks and coffee making sure that we are not swollowing the flies (ugh !)
Gosh! I would not recommend anyone to go there unless they have fly-kill in place. A good opportunity for pest-control company to sell their product.
After spending Rs.225 for two of us, we felt cheated being treated so cheaply.
Hello.....is anyone reading this one ?
