BOM is a nationalised bank, so we know that services given there surely will not be upto the mark and with a lazy working staff. Sharing about my personal experience, I too experienced with poor services and delaying with the procedures with the making of any necessary when visiting the branch. But the international transaction rates are very low. I study in russia and I am using BOM debit card since three years for withdrawal, and the transaction rates are very low compared to other nationalised and private banks. So if you are living abroad or planning to travel abroad, BOM debit card becomes very useful.
