Had opened a saving account with the Maharashtta bank and had to maintain a minimum balance of Rs.1000 inspite of cheque facility not being availed.
Also there are long lines to pay/withdraw cash from the counters.
Had opened an account forcefully by the college to pay their fees from the savings account of the bank.
They charge core banking charges if you transact at other than home branch.
I surrendered my account and the bank staff was like why are uou closing, keep the account operative and other suggessions, still I asked them to close it and surrendered my ATM card they tell me while doing the procedures.do you know evdrybody does not get ATM card.you got it and you are surrendering it.I was like what the hell.Not recommended to other.
