Hi friends,
First let me thanks for mouthshut.com for helping me to choose Pulsar 150 cc bike.
Before purchasing the bike i had

made reasearch for 2 months(As I am Research Analyst......its my habit....).
Well my budget was above 60 k and so I wanted a poweful bike.So I have started search .I had test drive of TVS RTR twice and Hero honda -X treme.
What I found is that -

1.Though RTR is having good look.(little bit good than Pulsar),its short bike for tall guys and gear changing   is not too handy.

2.I found its pick-up is good but not as Pulsar.

3.If you are Officer and need to drive for atleast 30 Km a day you definetly need to cange your shoes after every 2/3 months.(As gear shifting is really annoying.!!!!!!!)

4.Last but not least point is Milelage!!!!! It could never cross 50 Km/liter.

5.Now What I found in Honda X-treme is that though its having hondas smooth engine its look and
seat arrangement is not as good as Pulsar.

So Finally I decided to go for Pulsar 150 DTSi........

I booked bike from Bajaj Planet showroom,Pune and I got delivery after only 2 days.

Now as promised above its turn to tell someething about my Experience with bike..

Pros.........

1 When I took this machine in hand at first time I feel like that I am drving Aeroplane.......Its too smooth and nose is ike....sssuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu will make you feel like that.

2.Control is Amazing!!!!!!!!
Even you can control bike if you are driving 80 km/hr very easily.

3.Balance is really very good.

4.For long journy you can trust this.

5.Disk break is perfect.

6.Most Important part is before 1st service I drove the bike on High way and I got 46 km/lit.After 1st service I got 51-52 km/liter.

7. After 2nd service and 4000 kmm ,you will not belive but I am getting 56-58 km/lit in pune city.
What more you can expect from 150 cc guys?
(One important things here is I never used Castrol Engine Oil .  If you want good mielage use K-4 ELF oil.it makes engine too smooth after 2nd service.)

Cons-----

1 Bajaj Service is not too good.they dont try to look problem in deep.(Even some dont know that there is wire loop below sheet cover by which you can open sheet cover!!!!!! and they are bajaj technician!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

2.you need to give proper attension after every service.Plz do chk all lights and indicator.

3.Head light beam is not too powerful as others from same 150 cc segment.

4.sometime its hard to get neutral gear.

5.and very bad thing is its makes annoying noise while you are shifying 1 st gear.......noise like...dhhmm

But Ignoring this points I found its Amazing bike........
Machine quality from bajaj is good.........

       Thanks
