I have been using Pulsar 150 CC since May 2006. I would like write a detailed review for the bike.

First of I would like to say Pulsar 150 CC is the best bike in 150CC category, I would recommend anyone blindly to go for this bike.

The things which you will be impressed with.

  1. Design(I love to see it all the time, may be others wont because I have been using it for 7 years now)

  2. Very nice mileage as compared with other make 150 CC bikes - I used to get minimum 50-53 per litre(Honda Unicorn, Yamaha FZ, CBZ etc.) I personally feel that other then these no other bikes can be compared with Pulsar 150

  3. The powerful engine like a roaring lion, (I heard a lot about clutch shifting isn't that smooth  but I have hardly had this issue within these 7 years) Again it depends on your driving too

4.  Torque of the engine, its awesome. & the best part of Pulsar is the smoothest ever accelerator.(I compared it with FZ, CBZ, Unicorn & even with Karizma.amongst all Pulsar being the smoothest)

5.   Very very low maintenance cost & cheapest cost of Bajaj parts as compared with other company

6.    You are getting all in one(Power Pick up Performance with nice mileage), what else do you need?

Now coming to the things which you wont prefer, you may dislike

1.  Unstable back seat, its not comfortable for the one who has big bums(regardless of male or female)

2.  Uncomfortable riding position specifically for longer runs(If you are using bike for daily 100+ Kms then sorry, this is not for you guys) Lets think for 50 - 70 max a day. I used to ride 70 a day but with enough tiredness & many times back pains but it depends on your body & your driving ethics, roads & how do you move your bike within the traffic or free roads

3.   I don't know if any other user had faced this or not but mine one was really pain when it came to the patrol tank which turned badly in to corrosive & rotten. Even the patrol tan cap is not comfortable while in rain, water can go easily inside tank(though it wont go inside the tank but will be there around the neck of the tank & when you will open the cap there are possibility where logged water on the neck would easily drop down inside the tank. That becomes the most painful & the reason of tank catches corrosion even if you fill it full all time. which interns end up air gaping issues with carburettor & jerking or patrol leaking from the over flow pipe, to me this was really painful)

4.  Bajaj really has to work on Pulsar's patrol tank. in terms of the issue mentioned in point 3

Other then  these issues, bike is superb. But it again depends on how do you drive it.

You change the oil per 2000 Kms & it gives you the outstanding performance.

This is my personal experience with Bajaj Pulsar 150 CC through out 7 years.
