I have the Bajaj discover 100 Nov, 2012 model. Almost, 33K kms running till now. I observe after 20K kms engine consume the engine oil. It gives 50-55KMPL mileage which is very less as compared to other bikes. Within 3K kms, engine consume the approx 1 ltr engine oil. White smoke from the silencer also coming out.Engine life is very less.
Bike the overall the engine in which rings are replaced, also reboring the block or may be oversize piston will be install. Almost, 4000-5000 rupees estimated are needs to be spent on it.Conclusion: as per my experience with discover bike it's not a worth of the money spent on this bike. Due to 2 major reasons: low mileage & also high maintenance cost.
