I love this machine, though I have not had it very long. It is a 2003 year model with 1310 miles on the odometer. Just broke by all accounts. It has strict emission requirements for California state in the USA. I wonder if that is the reason it will only attain 50 mph on flat surface, I weight 160 lbs. so I do not think the machine is over loaded.
Could anyone comment on this, and how I might get a higher speed from the scooter. Any help would be appreciated. By the way, I have years experience in motorcycle competition, mostly enduros. I retired from competition at the age of forty. Now I am eighty years olds and enjoying a relaxing ride on my Chetak.
