After using Bajaj scooter from many and many years, Bajaj has made a special relation with our family. It was the time when I got into teenage, full of curiosity like any other teenage boys tried driving and started learning driving on the scooter. I got stitches too in the process, few scratches but as the saying goes "gira nahi to sikha kya, gir ke hi sikhte hai", I too learned driving. But it had passed 4 years after 2000, I got fed up with scooter as scooter has become old fashioned for us. Everyone was into riding bikes, it was my teenage, I too was catching some stares, so I told my father to buy a bike. But being from a middle class family, buying a bike is like buying Taj Mahal, it's a huge matter. I got the reaction like we will, but when it never gets discussed nor you get any sign when.

It was 2005 when at last by God's grace and to a great relief, my father decided to buy bike and thanks to Bajaj for launching CT100 bike. I guess it was the mileage which attracted my father and moreover the fact it was from Bajaj. We bought the bike and I was the happiest person because I got new bike to show off. Bajaj CT100, a 100 cc bike which promises around mileage of 100 km/ltr has an average look but if you want a good mileage then its worth buying it. The cost of petrol is rising day by day and it was rising then too, so buying a bike of good mileage was a money saver in all respect. I was a teenager and new bike in the house, I have driven the bike in all possible ways, high speed, low speed, roughly and apparently later smoothly, to be precise I tested it in all possible ways. The mileage of the bike is really awesome, no doubt in it at all. It claims a mileage of 100 km/ltr but on road, that's not true at all. In the start, while using the bike, it has given the mileage around 80-85 km/ltr after 1-2 servicing which is still very very good. I have very beautiful places around my hometown. After my board exams, I used to went out to these places in my bike with friends triple loading, the bike has good space and comfort for sure. We can rely on the bike that we will return home, the petrol wil not dry out. Then the mileage has decreased a bit to 75-80 km/ltr which was not bad at all for us. I with my friends used to race around with his and mine bikes. I have driven the bike in over 90 km/hr speed where I find something in con side of the bike which is its road grip. The bike starts shaking when you ride it over 70 km/hr due to its light weight. Well, we have at that time other bikes too when Bajaj launched CT100 which has good designs and look and more appealing. On the contrary, CT100 has average looks but its okay if you see other details of the bike.

Overall, its a good bike and boon to someone who is looking for good 100 cc bike with great mileage, a complete money saver. We are still using the bike and its working fine, the mileage has got down and even our silencer too but still its giving mileage around 60-65 km/ltr. I love this bike beacuase I have spent the most important years of my life in this bike.:)
