Have two idol cousins, who owned KB 100 RTZs during their college days, so was but natural for a guy just getting into college to go in for a KB in 1996. The KB125 was scheduled to be launched sometime in 1996 and waited for about 6 months to get the KB125 in Baroda.

Borrowing a quote from another KB125 lover ''the bike just runs, even after everything stops, you are sure that the engine is still the best and the tacho still shows the revs''. Just to add to that, I got my bike with dirt track tyres (the first few to be manufactured had dirt tyres!!), and a bike with 12.5 BHP was a brute at that point of time. Loved the bike too much to take it to my hostel during my PG for the fear of others riding it. But still get the bike moving whenever I go back home, though the dirt tyres have long since worn out and replaced by MRF Zapper (another good brand for grip).

Odes to Bajaj for the KB125, wonder why they prematurely stopped its production?
