BAILEYS IRISH CREAM Review

I first tried this drink years ago when we were out to dinner with friends. They had ordered Baileys Irish Cream after dinner for all of us.

Baileys launched their product in 1974 and

it has been selling strong since then. Don’t be fooled by other brands that claim to be just as good as Baileys Irish Cream because they add imitation ingredients and a lot of the flavor is lost. They might be cheaper and the taste will tell you it’s cheaper.

Me being the type that can’t drink much didn’t want to try it but gave in after my husband’s urging and I found I really enjoyed the smooth creamy texture of the drink. It has a taste that is all it’s own. Some have compared it to chocolate milk. I don’t think so. It’s just Baileys Irish Cream

Baileys Irish Cream is made from triple distilled Irish Whiskey and cream with other flavors added that the company won’t reveal. It’s also 100% natural.

It is 7% alcohol by volume. The alcohol acts as a natural preservative. Those that can’t stand the taste of alcohol can enjoy this because you don’t even know the alcohol is in the product. It’s very rich.

You don’t have to keep the bottle in the refrigerator but it helps to bring out the taste.

Serve straight over ice or mix with other liquors like butterscotch

With the Baileys Irish Cream it’s recommended that you only keep the bottle for 24 months then dispose of it if you haven’t already drunk it.

Carbohydrates 7.4g

A lot of soft drinks have more calories than Baileys Irish Cream. I don’t recommend that you grab a glass of this fine spirit in the place of a cold drink but if you are concerned about calories then leave off a couple of cans of the soft drink if you know you want to have a fine after dinner drink.

For a great after dinner treat pour the Baileys Irish Cream in your coffee or just drink it straight.
