I have been wanting to write a revu on this for quite someyime now, the ’’bacardi breezer’’. It is novel beverage as far as the indian liqour market goes.A fruit juice based light alcohol which has vodka or white rum .For a guy like me who used to trip on beer all through and not hard liqour, this is a welcome relief.
It tastes like a fresh fruit juice while at the same time gives you a slight high !!!
it allows you to have a drink in your hand continously for 4-5 hrs (obviously many bottles of it ,not just one) , without getting you completly drunk or sloshed.
It comes in a handy 330ml bottle if i am not mistaken in 3 flavours.
now to the pricing part as it has been positioned as an upmarket yuppy kind of a drink ,the price is a bit steep ,nearly as much as a 650ml bottle of beer, now that would turn off many potential cinsumers, but i guess it is ok since the target market is huge and as of yet untapped.
with a little bit of aggressive above the line communication and some cool contests this genre of drinks from the bacardi stable could be a winner all through.
