The ruling emperor of current Bollywood movies kicked off with a suspense thriller courtesy Abbas Mastaan which took the viewers by storm with its powerpacked performances and systematically weaved plot.The movie must have been the launching pad for King Khan in true sense of the word as the concerned movie brought him to limelight and rolled red carpet for him in the world of Bollywood.
The gory violence was an integral part of the tale which was infested with bouts of treachery and revenge.SRK is portrayed as a victim of circumstances seething with agony of vengeance against a man who is responsible for his family’s downfall.
SRK plans meticulously each and every act which would trigger the destruction of his dreaded enemy.But the enemy is not even aware of the pitfall awaiting him.
The enemy is in the form of a rich and famous industrialist ,the role enacted by Dilip Tahiliani.The enemy has two young daughters,the roles enacted by Shilpa Shetty and Kajol.SRK captivates the heart of his elder daughter Shilpa Shetty who falls head over heels in love with him and could be seen singing “Kitaabein Bahut Si” to appease her lover. But SRK has a malicious intention hidden in his mind which takes the form of marrying the innocent girl and kicking her several feet down to the ground floor with her blood splattered all across the place occupied by her body.A gruesome and horrendous act which sends shivers down the spine of the spectators.
But SRK is least affected emotionally by such a sinister act and even traps the younger daughter in his Mayajaal of love in which he attains significant success as well.Kajol is deeply shocked by her sister’s death and wants to know about the killer desperately.She even has a friend who is a police officer and harbours secret admiration for her as well.
SRK woos his lady love in the song “Ye Kaali Kaali Aankhen” sung in the voice of Anu Malik.SRK fails to recognize his dear friend who keeps arguing over his indifferent attitude only to suffer a cold blooded murder at the hands of his friend.A spate of murders to conceal his hidden identity and ulterior motives becomes a regular habit for him.
SRK comes across the father of Kajol through her,a day which he had been waiting for so many years.Dilip Tahiliani accepts his daughter’s choice and decides to get them engaged.The song arrives in the voice of Vinod Rathod ”Chhupaana Bhi Nahin Aata” which brings out the sentiments of the police inspector friend of Kajol.SRK’s enemy is supposed to go abroad.
So he transfers the possession papers of the property in the name of SRK.SRK after attaining the power of attorney starts misusing it knowingly which ruins the business establishment of his enemy.
He ultimately has to disclose his actual identity which leads to a high profile action fight between the two enemies.Both the people are forced to leave the world in their efforts to seek revenge.SRK leaves his last breath in the arms of Kajol.An emotionally charged scene in which the viewers are also caught in the sympathy wave for SRK .
