Bahubali: The marvel of Indian Cinema.

Directed by the S.S Rajamouli, the James Cameron of Indian cinema, this movie wraps you in surreal awe inspiring gaze that probably can't be penned down in words.

The plot dwells in the confinement of the queen Devasena( cast by Anushka Shetty) by the treacherous brother-in-law Vallaldev. The prince Mahendra Bahubali(cast by Prabhas), son of Amarendra Bahubali was sworn to be the king by Sivagami Devi, who looked after the kingdom in absence of the ruler and grandmother to Mahendra Bahubali. Sivagami Devi fled from Mahismati after being endangered by her own son Valladeva(cast by Rana Dugabatti) who has insane hunger for the empire. Valladeva had been a cruel king, played the unfair way to dethrone his brother and kind king Amarendra Bahubali. and even went to the extent of killing his mother to secure his empire and all his inanities were fueled by his crippled father Vijalladeva.

Sivagami devi saved the life of the young prince at the cost of her own life and the tribes off the border took care of the young prince, ignorant of him being the prince. Mahendra Bahubali grows up as Shiva who tries to rescue Devasena for the sake of her lady love Avantika, a soldier in the clan against the cruel king Vallaldeva. After the narrow rescue of Devasena the plot unravels before Shiva who after knowing his heritage, pulls up his socks to avenge his fathers death and get back his empire for the the malicious king Valladeva.

Apart from the star actors the performance of Sivagami Devi and Kattpaa are awe inspiring and couldn't have been performed better. The imagery used in the songs is way above standards for any Indian movie. The scales are too high that the often regarded as Telugu cinema is now proudly regarded as Indian cinema.

Hats off to the detailing that has been carried out by the crew of Sabu Cyril, an national award winner of design who designed the sets of Bahubali.

This exemplary cinematic achievement had been ex-cogitated director a while ago and the movies Magadheera and Makhi can be regarded as experimentation to garner the audience demand before unraveling the the cinematic grandeur.Although I expected some more twists, but the animation by VFX studios and the imagery of the scenarios and ambiance of the sets fulfills this gap. An ultimate experience!
