I purchased the EVDO connection at Bhawani Peth area around 20 days back. I took the connection on Saturday and I was told that my connection will be activated by monday. But till wednesday my connection was not activated. On calling the customer care number I was told to bring my modem at BSNL EVDO office at model colony. On going there it was found that my connection was not activated. I got my connection activated. There after initially for 1 week I was getting speeds of around of 250 kilo bits per sec. But after that the connection speed started deteriorating. Some times the speed is so slow that I could barely check my emails. Since last 12 hours I am unable to connect itself.

I had taken this connection based on previous reviews for EVDO in pune. But my experience says that review ratings are not correct. May be initially the service may be good but it is deteriorating as the number of subscribers are increasing.  

BSNL advertises of getting speeds upto 2 MBPS. Which is a huge exaggeration.  I am unable to even get dial-up connection speed.
