Pros:
Price
Cons:
Infrastructure and Technical Service

There have been couple of users who have covered the details w.r.t this service.I intend to provide some statistics and ground experince for new buyers. The images would provide complete details on the
product and actual speed reports.
Review:
Pros: This is the only cheapest service available in the market for unlimited access.
Cons:
A lot I am trying to list a few.
- Utter lack of customer service. The new connections on the different options are provided based on the mood of the Customer Service Manager. It would take a minimum of 3-5 rounds of visits and 10 calls to different exchanges to get the product you want and then get it activated
- Utter lack of technical personnel who could tell you exactly where all the BTS for these services are installed and the strength of signals at your location and to help you out if you face an issue with the network post buying a connection
- Theoritical Speeds and Actuals Speeds. Please have a look at the Speed Report image.(Links Below)
- I faced tremendous problem to get the CDMA1x service activated.I had the good fortune to meet Mr Prashanth at Palace Rd CSC,Blore and he is the manager responsible for the wireless data services. He gave me a session about wireless internet and convinced me to NOT GO FOR THE CONNECTION because they are not able to manage the service.I am still a BSNL Customer as there is no other choice but I wonder if an employee and incharge of BSNL has accepted that their is serious fault in the service infrastructure it wouldn’t be long when existing customers would start facing problems.I guess for new buyers WiMax might bring hope and act as an alternative if the service providers Reliance and Tata Indicom bring it out soon at affordable prices.
Bottomline:
CDMA1x & NIC Card: Dont Buy (Look at the Speed Reports Link)
EVDO:For the Moment Speeds and Service in Central Areas of the City are reliable.People in other parts might experience fluctuations.Based on cost and Average Speed better than Dataone Unlimited Plan (Rs 750/256kbps)
