I am a BSNL mobile customer since inception of BSNL mobile service inKarnataka.
I have faced the ups and downs of BSNL service for the past 6 years. Inthe
beginning BSNL was very good and its service
was slowly deteriorating.Till few
months back i was not at all a satisfied customer of BSNL. Only in termsof
billing i was very happy. Very transparent, no cheating and very cheap, especially for
very high end users like me.

But for the past 4 to 5 months BSNL has changed alot. Due to theshortage in
equipments BSNL network expansion was not happening for the past 3years.
Now they started expanding and the quality of service drasticallyimproved.
I have used some private operators sim card as standby when the BSNLnetwork was too worst.
Now for the past 4 months i am not using it and last week i destroyedthe Airtel sim card.

In Bangalore now BSNL gives good coverage than any other private operator. There is no
network congestion, no call drops and very good coverage.

I am using BSNL post paid connection. In Post Paid segment BSNL is thecheapest in market.
Till few months back Prepaid was costlier compared to Private operator. But now BSNL started
introducing alot of offers for Prepaid customers. Like Special Tariff Vouchers(STV) which are
the cheapest now in market. These type of STVs nobody has introducedtill today in market.
BSNL has introduced around 13 STVs, which cater your different needs anddifferent type of users.
Finally BSNL has decided to participate in the race with privateoperators. IF they are successful
in marketing the product and giving better customer service there is nodoubt our government service
provider will become the No:1 network in India. This will give an end tothe private service providers who are capturing the market with fraud marketing strategy.

The details of STVs are given in the following path
