Old is Gold. Review on BSNL Broadband

The BSNL Broadband is since ages and its usefulness and reach is immense. I have been using the BSNL Broadband since last 7 months. The speed is very nice. And on contrary it is massive. As this is directly connected through the fibre cable it provide you rapid speed to surfon internet.  Before that they were providing speed of 256 mbps which was a peanuts. But recently changed in the policy of GOI they have updated this speed to 1 mbps. ALthough this too is not very great speed. They have now move into the speed of 4mbps and has got the robust connectivity.  In term of plan the BSNL provides wide ranges. One can choose the plan according to his needs. But I basically recommend people to go for BB 1275 plan which give 4 mbps till 20GB and later on 512kbps till 20 GB.  Connectivity is not an issue with this broadband. But the service & support is not so good. Once your line is down they gonna take sometime more than 4 days. You have to visit their office to get the complain registered. Although you can book the complain through customer care but they are gonna take more time then initial also.  They need to amend there response time. The customer service is a mess. They normally unable to provide any solution to your query. You need to visit the office to get things done. As this is government undertaking the service is very low. For getting a new connection you got to pursue very hard. They application process is large and tedious. Sometime people leave in between for this long process. They need to review there customer support service. They hardly solve your query and so it become pertinent to visit the office now and then. In case it is down due to weather or some other reason then it gonna be hard to repair. You need to visit now and then to get it done. Overall speed is not an issue only they need to resolve there tech and customer support.
