I'm a 19 year old guy doin my final year mech engineering....wondering wt i'm doin writin reviews on cycles,wn i'm supposed to work on my turbochargers and nitrox!!!! well i'm not writin about any ordinary cycle ...its all about the alloy cycles...

The BSA ZERO-G is one such alloy cycle, thats calling the shots in the alloy cycle segment in India...its completely off age, state of the art, even makes guys on bikes turn thier head (trust me,I've experienced it,and continue to do so)...

Lemme remind u that i'm a avid cyclist..was first introduced to alloy cycles wn I was in my 10th (a time when the Hero Swing was rulling the market)..i was a fan of Swing, untill my first ride on this alloy cycle, which happened to b a Kona (imported from the United Kingdom,)came my way...i was riding a alloy for the first time before I knew what alloys were,so I start of and BANG!!!!! never had I reached such high speeds on my cycle....it was like moving from a maruthi 800 to a Porche..(this might be a bit of exaggeration, but well it was almost there)...

Weighing a fraction of the conventional cycles...its just the shear feather weight of the cycle that torpedoes u forward....that was just the begining...i soon forced my father to buy me one...but much to my disappointment there were no Indian alloys models that time..so I used to borrow the Kona from my friend and used to drive as long and as far as possible...

But soon my prayers were answered and suddenly Hero and BSA,were offfering alloys at affordable rates...but I was already finishing my 12th,but that didnt stop me from buying one, friends looked at me as if I transformed into an alien all of a sudden,as I had stopped travelling by my Bike, and used my cycle as much as possible...

But soon things changed thanks to my BSA Zero-G,wait I forgot to tell u guys that this cycle came with a bunch of accesories...

1-the electronic tachometer, jus the size of a watch with a LCD screen, that gives of details like the current speed (accuracy to the hundredth of a kilo meter)....Top speed...average speed of ur journey...a tripmeter...and a distance log....mind boggling..even High end motorbikes dont hav these...this sleek gadget runs on those tiny button batteries..and hav a average life of about 300 kms...and the best part is yet to come,u can detach it..put it in ur pocket, and stop worrying about ur little gadget getting stolen....all u need to do is to set the circumference of the wheel once and its does the job...

2-the turn indicators...think it does not make sense on a cyce, but wait in city traffic ur cycle is the fastest..so the indicators come in very handy..

3-also included in the package is an electronic horn...but I prefer the tring trrinnng.....

Though the cycle comes with a standard set of mud guards and carrier..i removed them the very first day...guys sports bikes are not supposed to look cyclish...with just the, main bar,2 wheels and the electronic meter (i removed the horn and the indicators).and with the gears in place..the bike was ready for action....

It took me only a week's time to master the wheelies and flips on this cycle (i had done them before on my friends Kino)...It was like ice skating, amazing balance,so light and jus a gentle pull and the front wheel is air borne, few more pedals and you are all set for the flips..the cycle brakes are quite slack so needed to attain higher speeds for an effective back wheel flip...the kino was wonderful in that aspect, thanks to its disk brakes...so I got one in my front wheel...but the disks are not for the weak hearted..one wrong pull and you will end up with a broken nose...

The cycle lacks shock absorbers..but doesnt really matter to me as I hardly sit...the seat is really comfortable for those who just like peddaling around..

But guys beware if you are trying to pull of some tricks on ur cycle, make sure u hav a helmet on and also make sure the girls are not around,U definitely wont like the idea of them laughing at u,when u fail to pull of ur trick and end up in a mess....

Thanks to my cycle I have 7 stitches on my body, nothing serious though...thanks to my helmet or the stitch count would have been higher..all this not because my cycle under performed,it was because it OVER PERFORMED!!!

Now its a real pleasure to watch people stare at me cycling with just one wheel ON the ground and pulling off some real good and scary tricks..

This review might sound as if my cycle is a technological marvel...But no my objective was just to encourage CYCLING...GO GREEN...GO CYCLING..and dont forget the HELMET!!!!!!!

as I go trrinng tring.......................................@-@............................@-@
