im not saying boys is a great movie but it sure is a good one ,fast paced and thoroughly enjoyable.all the criticism directed towards it is just bulshit....vulgarity ?my foot. my bloody left foot.the ones against it are such blatant hypocrites.as vivek aptly points out in the movie theres nothing on tv thats short of the so -called vulgarity .well for instance all the prime time english comedy serials(leave alone the movies) carry boob jokes and similar ’’vulgar’’ stuff everyday and lets not talk about ftv at all.isnt friends so popular? i havent heard anything against it .......though there are so many dialogues that can make people squirm in a family audience and thats supposed to be hilarious comedy i guess. maybe the taboo is only for indian actors!the way the movie was being criticised i assumed it was something in the range of a triple x .now after watching it i know better.indian esp.tamil audiences consist of narrow minded bulshitting hypocrites who live double lives .....did i see all those ones oogling secretly at surya,zeemgm,ftv come out seething with ’’anger’’ at the stuff in boys?just keep in mind ....india is leaping in bounds as far as aids, unmarried pregnancies,rapes and sexual harrassment are concerned ....so u ’’concerned critics ’’ out there clean your dirty minds first and try criticising something that deserves it.appreciate the genuineness and fun in shankars direction and sujathas lines.appreciate arr’s pulsating music.appreciate the will of the boys to try study and come up in life no matter what. appreciated ’’naermai thaan vettriyin ragasiyamae’’....maybe that hurt these guys the most?!
