I was looking for an affordable 15-inch LCD monitor for my home to replace the 15-inch CRT monitor and the BenQ FP531 fitted in very well as an economic entry level model.

It is a small 15-inch LCD monitor that’s perfect for the space-conscious household and is ideal for environments where space is at a premium as it saves you more than two thirds of the desk space needed for a conventional monitor. Affordability is very well matched by the performance of the BenQ FP531.

The viewable size of FP531 is larger than that of regular 15-inch CRT monitors and provides a much bigger screen to meet the requirement of big screen applications like documentation. Narrow bezel brings a clean feeling. BenQ FP531 is equipped with the ’’Auto adjustment’’ function for adjusting the phase, vertical and horizontal position automatically, thus, allowing enjoyment of perfect images without any extra effort.
 
With the auto-adjustment-key - iKey, one can easily adjust the display quality and setting. The LCD Monitor is only about 40% the depth of a regular CRT with the equivalent screen size.

Also, the VESA wall-mount compatibility allows you to free up desktop space completely (optional bracket required).

Prior to buying this LCD Monitor I considered Acer as I am using one in my Office but this suited me perfectly as it fulfilled the affordability as well as the performance factor very well.
