I have been running pillar to post for the last one month to get my communication address changed in Axis bank credit card division data base. First they told, you need to upload through mobile app only. When I told, I do not use mobile app, they asked me to scan and mail the self attested address proof. When it was sent, I got a reply stating the rule is changed and no can not accept address proof change through e mail. I was asked to visit the nearest branch and hand over a self attested address proof for change. I visited Axis bank, palakkad(city centre) main branch in kerala and handed over the same on 28-10-2016 by filling forms and signing it along with the self attested copy of Adhar card. Today is 18-11-16 and no change has been made in the database and the renewal card is sent to my old address.Last saturday, I visited the Palakkad branch and they told it was already mailed from their end on 28-10 itself. I do not understand how come a new age bank like Axis can make a customer walk like this.I wish I could transfer the debit amount to some other credit card issuers and close the credit card with Axis. I am really fed up. On 22nd November, I am going on a trip to Malaysia and will be going without credit card.You can assume how it will be.
Hope at least some one sees this message act upon it.
