I also was recommend this investment policy with Aviva in 2009 from a known person in Aviva and they assured a return of atleast 25% plus within 5years I paid 50k anually with total premium of Rs. 2, 60, 000.00 till date today the fund value stands at 2, 77, 000 which is less than 5% of the invested amount.
The policy gives me 2.50, 000.00 insurance coverage which I can get from UTI for Rs. 20, 000.00 per annum and also its a ULIP plan. So the markets have gone up from 2009 until 2015 why has not the NAV gone up in Aviva whereas all others funds are giving good returns.
The costs of this company are too high in advertisements and paying brand ambassadors. There is no clarity of the charges that are deducted against fund management or other hidden charges. I will reach out to people that have this policy and advice them to never invest and also exit if they have one.
