I had taken a Life Insurance Policy -Aviva I Life in 2012. A policy term for 30Years with a premium of Rs5070 annually and assured Sum of 50lacs.
After having taken the policy I went outside India for Job. Thereby I had requested AVIVA to confirm me whether the policy is still applicable to the person who is residing outside India. I asked them to provide me the detailed procedure with pros and cons.
Intially there was no reply but after few reminders the only reply was a very casual approach telling to continue the policy. They did not further replied when I asked to provide me further details.
But after one year when I stopped paying the premium I was receiving regular reminders for paying the pending premium and asking for renewing the policy. I have received more than 50 e-mails asking the premium but not a reply for my queries.
I can imagine what can happen what shall be the response when something happens to me.
