Automatic Transmission V/S Manual Transmission
Oct 22, 2008 11:20 AM 26906 Views

Automatic gear is the most comfortable and the most luxurious feature anyone would opt for.But in our country we don't think luxury we think price and style.I don't offend but neither do I defend because automatic gears are used since more than 20 years from now.

The concept in india is new to some people. I'm using automatic transmission since last 10 years and I never got any problem with the gear box. That's the most famous rumors about automatic transmission. Infact you get more relaxed and feel comfortable driving with automatic transmission.

If you distinguish between the two then.

1)Automatic Transmission doesn't have clutch so your one leg is always free. 2)Manual Transmission have clutch so you have to be more cautious while driving car

2)Automatic Transmission keeps your both hands on the steering wheel so you can focus on road.

2)Manual Transmission keeps your one hand on your steering and one hand on the gear.So it's more like a running a cotton yarn machine.

There are exceptions quite though you might say that the average, mileage etc.is good in manual transmission that is the plus point. But my point here is not to prove that one should not use manual transmission. If you are used to it then there is no problem. But if you opt for a sedan car like accord, civic or camry etc.then I would suggest you to take the A/T

A/T has better pick-up Than M/T.Believe me don't go on rumours.
