There are very few books written from which the knowledge flows through you and back.This is definately one of those books which can affect your soul, move it, shake it and stir it and can leave a permanent mark if you read this book with an open mind.if you fail to have an open mind while reading this book then it will be nothing more than a con man's account of himself and others like him.

The book was originally written in english but has been translated into many languages.The story is about a yogi Paramahansa Yoganand and his incredible journey of becoming a yogi and all the intersesting people he encounters during the journey.There is a detailed account of his guru Sri Yukteshwar ji and his guru's guru Sri Lahiri Mahasaya and how their divine powers affected him.There are further accounts of his visit to America and how he spread the message of love and peace through yoga.

I highly recommend this book to people inclined towards spirituality.It will be like a treat to them and for all the people who think of spirituality as a waste must read this book for the beautiful language used in the book.The only negative thing about this book is that an average indian reader will find the language to be very hard to read as a very complex vocabulory is used in the book.
