Audio Books Vs. Paper Books

Call me traditional, call me a sentimental fool, in fact call me anything you like but it just has to be paper for me. Maybe it’s only because im used to paper books but somehow listening to books
and reading them are just not comparable. Sure, I completely agree that audio books are awesome and indeed brilliant for people who may have a disability which does not allow them to read but hear the topic in contention is audio books vs paper books, which i am arguing on based on the presumption that we have the option to choose either mode.
when we read off paper the best thing that happens is the use of our powers of imagination. True, you can imagine while listening to an audio book as well but the fact of the matter is that were using an audio book to allow us to do more stuff at the same time. In a paper book we are forced to concentrate, we create pictures as we read. Our minds are not pre-occupied with other activities. A paper book further allows us to read and reread particular parts as we like it. we can deliberate, re read and analyse what the author is saying. that the biggest advantage of a paper book. It allows you to get into the depths of the authors meaning. this is something you cant really do with an audio book. i could take this debate further by deliberating on the points i mentioned above but i eblieve that what i have written is nough to get the point across. from my point of view it just has to be paper books.
