A couple of days back I read a review of Astitva , this triggered me really writing about this serial.
I used to watch with lot of interest , as when it started it was quite different type of serial, specifically different from K type serials. It also handled a unique subject of age differences between dr simran and Abhi initially. Also It showed a strong and straight headed man very well through Manas Character. This serial is still better than K serials, but I want to mention that this was Better or Best sometime back.
Few months now, it has started going down on Story. Initially it started like a normal story, After they realized that this serial is famous, they did try/are still trying to promote the Character of Dr simarn as IDEAL WOMAN.

Recently I met a lady Gynecologist who is running her own hospital same as Dr. Simarn. I did observe her as a lot, having Dr. Simarn ( Gynecologist in the serial ) in mind . She was lot much better than Dr. simran..means first she was great in the sense she was charging very less charges, attending patients, delivery cases, operations for full day. Also she was running her family very well. I did not understand then , why only Dr. Simran is celebrity portray? There are thousands of women on earth who are worth doing the job. They do not get such Big awards or Such a Media coverage for some funny personal reasons. Is it something that they wanted to portray dr. Simran as a Actress but did end up being Gync. Very funny.

Another issue, she is shown sacrificing everything and rest all ( each and everybody ) in the serial are talking about her so called sacrifice all the time. They do not have their lives or may be any other dialogues given ! Only sensible characters are of Manas and Dr Pranav to some extent. Forget about dr. Aloknath. He has one emotion which he shows for each serial everywhere. He does not need to act. You can see same face/expression all the time - in all the serials/movies, consistently. Harsh Chaya does a wonderful job in acting as always.

Main Character is Dr. simarn , mostly all women used to like her. Not anymore now. I could not guess a dr. Gync with so fashionable and doing multitasking all the time - I made my mind exactly after I met a Lady Gync in real . I think that lady was a Hero. The actress does a good job in whatever script given to her. You cannot help Sometime the script itself is poor. I do not know how she can accommodate all things in her schedule ! Abhi ( Saxena) is fine, works well..can manage 3 weddings in his CV ! We prefer to end this serial now.
 
All in All it is an average Serial. If you have started watching the same recently, you might like it ( especially better than K serials !) .
