Pros:
very good story line
Cons:
ABHIMANYU JOSHI

Astitva is a story about Simran Mathur (Nikki Aneja) - an ambitious girl who spent 10 beautiful years of her life treating patients. Hospital and home was her normal boring routine until Abhimanyu
entered her life- Abhimanyu a guy who is 10 yrs younger than her.

So, the question is: what would you do if you were to carry on same boring dull routine or live with the love of your life? Of course anyone would choose to live with the love of his or her life, but what if the person you are in love with is ten years younger than you? Would you just carry on with your daily routine bearing community and norms and taboos in mind? Or would you forget what is going on in this world and listen to your heart? I know it?s a huge dilemma but can we be sure about the decision we make? Well! That?s life. But keeping Astitva in mind Dr. Simran listens to her heart and marries a guy who is 10 yrs younger than her.

The story continues and they see a lot of ups and downs in their married life and the biggest villain I think in Simran’s life is her so called mother-in-law who doesn?t misses a chance of creating a scene.

The things move on pretty well until the day Kiran enters Abhi’s life- a menace who acts sweet and innocent in front of Abhi and her mother. The story moves on and we see how the relationship between Abhi and Kiran grows to friendship, then to love and then what we see is them two together in bed. Well, this makes me wonder what kind of a girl Kiran is. Because a normal girl would not sleep with someone else’s husband.

After all hide and seek game one day simran eventually finds about Abhimanyu’s affair with Kiran and decides to leave him. Well, this was the only reason I said earlier on how ’can we be sure about the decision we make?’ Marrying someone who is 10 yrs younger than you is a very daring decision but is it a right decision? When Abhi made all those ’Lovey-Dovey’ promises to her, were they true or was he just saying it for the sake of it? Was it a true love or just an infatuation?

Now, if you all think it was only Abhi who had an affair and was infatuated towards Dr. Simran then sorry people you all are wrong because later on we find out Dr. had an EX called ’ABHIMANYU JOSHI’ who shockingly come back after Abhi leaves Simran. However, it gives us lot information about Simran’s decision of marrying ABHI.

So, the reason why Dr. Simran Marries Abhi is that he resembled Abhimanyu Joshi and acted like him and Simran was finding Abhimanyu Joshi in Abhimanyu Saxena. So, as an Astitva viewer I don?t think Abhi was the only person who was at fault and responsible for their unsuccessful marriage somewhere or the other Simran too was responsible.
