Pros: Only pros is that it provides IT environment like every other company provides the infrastructure for work execution.
Cons: 1. Not at all a good company to join especially for freshers as frustration grows after working hard where no fruitful results are shown.
This company had acquired a U.S based company in gurgaon and all the employees were at senior position who were drawing higher salary than the senior people of Chennai Aspire branch which was a major point of issue for them. Based on this they started annoying people with worst appraisal.
Many of the employees of the(of acquired Gurgaon company) had left the company due to arrogant behavior of the senior authorities of Aspire based on point 2 above and due to less experience.
Even the acquired company managers at U.S have been not informed about the loss of the resources, rather fresh resources without any experience been brought to the existing legacy products of acquired company and the productivity has further gone down.
For freshers there is no facility of medical benefits, flexi benefits etc. even the salary grades are way lower than the market, a Desi company even pays better than this.
Internal freshers are provided as resources to new projects without being internally interviewed, which makes it harder for both fresher and project leading/managers to handle the project.
Beds have been laid at office premises where due to work pressure, employees work late and sleep there only. Even after so much of hard work, no appraisal happens.
Although company claims work culture is good, but employees as per above points are going through bad state no growth, and zero recognition.
Project content, versioning, data backup etc everything is controllled at chennai facility no matter how many times employee asks for providing access to resourceful content for knowledge and help. As per experience its observed that this company wants to keep controll of everything at Chennai facility.
Experience people of acquired company has been disregarded of better positions, salary, and equal treatment. Rather senior people have been forced to report to Junior resources at Chennai branch where the junior resources are projected as Senior and they review the work of Experienced people. Many times its been observed that experienced people of Acquired company had given better examples of work in terms of say code, review, tools where the junior resource due to lack of knowledge and experience continue to stick to poorer information they are carrying.
Overall, its not a good company to work with in terms of gaining knowledge, growth, respect and recognition.
