I've been using internet since I was 10. An in all these years I've seen some really bad service from a lot of ISPs. But I've never seen an ISP with such a low level of competence and high level of greed.
Asianet has created a broadband company not to give internet connection to people with demand, but to make money by cheating and defrauding the customers.
The internet gets disconnected every time the power goes out, and this happens at least half a dozen time everyday in the monsoon season. I've filed a complaint and it hasn't been solved even after a week.The upload speed is 1/10 of the download speed(image attached).The customer service employees are the most arrogant, ignorant, utterly useless people I've ever had to talk to.
I am paying Rs.16800/annum(for an fup limit of mere 40GB/month) for my broadband and this is the service they are providing. In fact the only reason I still have this is because it is the only viable option I have right now with all the other companies charging cut-throat amounts for large amount of data. When other private companies with proper standards and business ethics start in south India like in north India, Asianet will die.
