There is this ad which goes in which there's a guy Sunil sitting cosily by his newly painted house and a neighbour/milkman goes by remarking
''Wah Sunil Babu.. Naya Ghar..Nayi Missus..Nayi Gaadi..Bhadiya Hai''
simply meaning ''Wow Sunil Sir, New House,New Wife(a beautiful slim sari-clad girl comes),New Car(a brand new shiny red car) , thats really great!''
then after a couple of years
the neighbour/milkman goes by again ,this time he's a bit aged and come with his son and again seeing Sunil cosily by his house remarks
'' Wah Sunil Babu.. Naya Ghar..Nayi. Mi....Nayi Ga.....Bhadiya Hai''
which means ''Wow Sunil Sir, New House,New Wi(he stops halway in his sentence beacuse she's the same but is quite overweight now),New Ca(the car's got old and rusted) thats really great ''
the ad as such is quite creative, and interesting focussing on the Asian Paints longivity , implying people may not be the same, vehicles may get old and out of use, but Asian Paints stays on ... lasts long
However the remark nayi missus(meaning new wife) is not in good taste.
The Ad was quite successful and Asian Paints came up with another one in which two neighbours invite you for tea ,at the same time bragging about their homes(exteriors obviously)but personally I prefer the ''Sunil Babu'' ad ofcourse minus the ''Nayi Missus '' line....
