We also got our house recently painted and on suggestion of the painters went ahead with Asina Paint Royale, as it would give a premium smooth look, easy to maintain, wipeable and stain resistant.
The finished painting job has the following characteristics :
Very average matt and rough look with no question of any premium look attached to it
Paint feels rough at various places and has already started peeling at places
Some walls even had brush stroke marks which could be seen from angles where light fell
On trying to clean with a sponge, the stain / dust goes, however your left with ugly marks on the wall of the cleaning and is clearly visible when light falls on it
Home owners should just stick to plastic paints as they have a long life without any hassle of cleaning, peeling. The look is also superior. Deeply disappointed at the paint quality esp. when it comes from a superior brand with claims of high performance and hence steep pricing too.
Painters are unwilling to accept any responsibility of the outcome and mention that we should go complain to the company for the quality of their paint. We have come to the conclusion that either this paint is not suited Indian conditions of weather or material quality or there is some quality issue with the product manufacturing/distribution at different places.
