I had worst experience ever in my life because of this commercial place so called hospital. My wife just had a miscarriage after a 6 weeks pregnancy because of Dr Anita Kant and her daughter. As per Dr there was no negative effect on baby due to Ultra sound. Second, Her daughter performed the Ultra sound test who could not find the heart beat and called a senior doctor for help. She pressed my wife's stomach so hard and took very long time to find heart beat and also could not identify the object in uterus so called it corpus luteum cyst. Just after this test my wife started getting clotting in urine and got miscarriage finally. For Dr. this was just a coincidence that it all started after a ultra sound test. However my wife was absolutely fine before this test. Finally they inserted some medicine in her body and advised that remaining 10% of clotting will come out after 1-2 hours or else will have to go for cleaning process. Clotting came out however, they had to go for Ultra sound again for 3rd time to see if 10% clotting has been removed or not . We could sense that all doubts are being created just to make more money. However, we had no option and had to stay there for a night which was the most horrible night of our lives.
Staying experience:
We reached hospital at around 11.30AM and selected semi private ward. Till 6:30PM we were not shifted to this ward. When I asked then nurse told me that they dont have any room available in semi private ward. I said, why I was not informed at the time of admission because I will still be billed for semi private room. There was no place for attendant in labour ward to rest. And they wanted one attendant with the patient. Nurses also told me that Semi private ward has male staffs only and there will be no monitoring possible from labour room. When I asked what logic is it. Will gynee doctor come there in case of any emergency or not. Then they finaly accepted that they will. Somehow, after a long argument we were shifted to the semi private ward.
They had sofa cum bed which had horrible sink in the middle. I still thought it is better than sleeping on floor in cold night. I went to nursing station to ask for a pillow and blanket and they denied. They said they dont have this facility. I was surprised, that this is a common facility in other hospitals and these people denied even when they were charging a good amount for this room. Somehow, when I asked to make me speak with MOD then I was provided with a blanket and a pillow- "for one night only"
My wife started feeling cold and we asked for extra blanket for her. I had to make 3-4 requests and finally got one after raising voice in the end.
There is no food allowed from hospital for attendant. Neither I was allowed to bring food from home. I have severe gastritis problem and still had to buy food from restaurant inside hospital itself.
Day before yesterday, I had to bring my wife in emergency where she was put on rest for sometime after injections. It was around 3PM when I asked brother to bring khichdi for her however, security didnt allow him to enter even after informing them that food is for a pregnant patient. Then I asked if they can provide food from hospital. I was denied. So neither we had food in hospital nor we could bring food from home for a pregnant lady as per their rules. After a good long argument with MOD, I was promised that hospital will provide food within few minutes. When I went to labour room and asked nurses if they got any communication in this regard then they had no clue about it. Nurse contacted MOD over the phone again and then they allowed home food in labour room. I ran to security at entrance and informed them about the permission and they spoke with MOD again over the phone and allowed to carry food inside. My wife had lunch at around 4:30PM after this whole episode. Which educated me about their inhuman rule about food.
Once we were shifted to semi private room, then I realized that they only have 2 visitor's lifts from ground floor to 6th floor. They have their parking at -1 level and you have to go to 0 level by stairs and take lift to reach 6th floor. I was denied in lift at -1 which is for doctors/patient/facilities only even when I showed them my attendant's pass. Another stupid rule to trouble common people. They could have one of their bouncers stand in front of lift at -1 to check pass and made it convenient for the attendants. Please note, "they dont have security guards, they have bouncers more than the doctors in hospital."
Next day, same Dr - daughter of Dr. Anita Kant performed Ultra sound. Test came out fine and there was nothing found in her stomach and Doctor allowed discharge at 10AM.
Nursing staff told me that they have initiated discharge process. It took 4 hours for them to complete the discharge process which also required my run around from 6th floor to -2 level, traveling through different lifts.I also informed that I will pay in cash as mediclaim process will take longer time. When I went to billing department after 3 hours, at -2 level, then I was informed that they had not yet received billing from nursing station. I went back to nursing staff again and tried my best to stay calm and politely asked for billing. They said its with IPD now. I went back to -2 level again and found that they had included procedure charges which was not required and didnt happen. I asked then to check again with Doctor. Then they took 1 hour to correct the bill and I paid the final amount.
After I submitted clearance at nursing station, I was asked to sign papers which says that we have completed all the formalities which was not true. Then after asking, male nurse explained me everything and still no feedback form provided.
There was no wheel chair in semi private room for patient at the time of discharge. We were asked to wait. I waited for 10-15 minutes. This was final testing of my patience and I had to raise my voice again to call for MOD. Then I got wheelchair in 2 minutes.
This was the worst experience ever in my life where I had lost my baby and was made kind of hostage by hospital to help them running their billing meter and was told by Dr. Anita Kant itself that this is all normal as it happens with everyone. And I had to say "Thank you" in the end with smile.
