Looting patients is their motto!. Review on Asian Institute of Gastroenterology - Somajiguda - Hyderabad

I have visited this hospital a year ago as I suffered from vomitings and diarrhea. Here's my story about the horrific experience I got after visiting this hospital.

After attending a family function, I came back to my house and was doing a project work of my college. But suddenly I started to vomit at 8.00pm in the night. We tried to control them from anti-emetic tablets available in most of the medical shops. Vomitings did not seem to stop and then onset of diarrhea took place too. I was in a bad health state and we rushed to this Hospital.

After I reached the place, they did not put me on IV like most of the hospitals do. They forced me to take ultrasound scan and x-rays.with many blood tests.even without properly listening to my history.  I was admitted there the whole night. My condition improved a little bit by morning but worsened much when they stopped the Antibiotics and sent me for endoscopy.

They never informed us about the exact diagnosis and told us that it is not a simple infection to treat. Within a matter of day they took almost Rs.10, 000/- from us. The PG Staff available at rotation in general wards were rude and did not reply to my questions. We analysed the situation and took a discharge against medical advice. We visited another gastroenterology clinic at Narayanguda. We went here on recommendation from a relative and the doctor was of 25 years experience. HE TOLD ME THAT IT WAS JUST A FOOD POISONING CASE AND I WILL BE ALRIGHT WITHIN A WEEK. His antibiotics(Cefixime) did work really well and I was good to go within 4 days.

By the Name of this hospital - "ASIAN INSTITUTE OF GASTROENTEROLOGY" One would think that it is a big reputed institute doing a great job. But I did a mistake by visiting this place. Indeed, the hospital has some reputed physicians such as Dr. Manu Tandan And Dr. Sandeep. But they are doing a job which doctors are not supposed to do. They are looting patients from unnecessary scans and providing lame diagnosis.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU TO VISIT THIS PLACE. There are many good gastroenterologists around malakpet, narayanguda and ameerpet.
