Diwali Dhamaka and much more! That is what I would like to describe Arrambam as, mainly because scripts in this genre are seldom executed well. But this movie is different – It is a subtle but explosive mixture of Style and Substance.
Directed by Vishnu Vardhan and produced by A.M. Rathnam, it is an action thriller movie. The runtime of the movie is 2 hrs and 30 minutes.
This movie is somewhat based on the plot of the Hollywood movie “Swordfish”. The cinematography, characterization, screenplay, editing makes the film an absolute blockbuster.
The first half is very quick and fast where Ajith is like a rocket. However, the actual plot of the movie is revealed in the second half.
The entry of the hero Ajith Kumar is in itself is a big hit and he is given the perfect look, simply awesome and charismatic! It portrays Ajith Kumar as an intelligence officer. It is a through revenge story.
Mahesh Manjrekar is the real villain who is into politics and indulges into illegal activities. Ajith convinces a hacker to join him in his mission. Nayantara is the love interest of Ajith Kumar.
The stunts are breathtaking, specially the scene or should I say, fight between Ajith and Atul Kulkarni, who plays the role of a cop. Rana Daggubati will also be seen in this movie playing the character of a friend of Ajith.
His look in the movie is cool and attractive. Arya is a subordinate of Ajith. Tapasee Pannu plays the role of Arya’s girlfriend. Arya, Nayantara and Tapasee Pannu do some real time pass comedy which you will surely love.
The songs of the movie are so mesmerising and refreshing that you keep humming to these songs. “Adadada Arrambane” is the title song which is perfect for celebration. It is sung by Shankar Mahadevan. Another song “En Fuse Poche” is a romantic song.
“Hare Rama” is a groovy song which has captivated most of the audience. “Melala Vedikudhu” is an emotional song about friendship and trust and some parts of the song will take you aback.
“Stylish Thamizhachi” is the best song in the movie which is played with the climax of the story. Ajith definitely appears with a stunning look in this song.
Overall, I would say the movie is a must watch for all Ajith followers, because you get a chance to see him like never before. This movie is surely expected to be a milestone in Ajith’s career.
