Im surprised by the 1 and 2 star ratings this place has received. According to me this is the best chinese restaurant in town and I will rate this higher than Mainland China. I prefer the ambience in the
latter slightly over this but if you talk about the dining experience per se, this is miles ahead.
The sea food is quite good, although iv heard that this new place called "nanking" is the best for seafood, am yet to try that place out though. Do try the prawns, the ginger prawns are excellent and all youl get in a plate are 2 in number, but the biggest prawns you would have ever see (or atleast the biggest I had ever seen :)
The Lemon Grass soup is the finest in town.
The Chowmein and the Rice are excellent too, not very spicy, slightly bland id say, but I like it that way. Lots of options for vegggies as well.
The service is very friendly and prompt. The dish can be tweaked according to how you like it and I really like that fact.
A meal for two, including a cocktail, a plate of starters, main course and one dessert will set you back by between 1500-2000 rs, but its money well spent as I like to say.
Book a table in advance as that will save you the trouble of waiting for close to 30 minutes, its usually packed on the weekdays as well, evenings in particular.
There is a valet parking available so you do not have to worry about finding yourself a parking spot.
