I was supposed to receive a courier from my back via Aramex. Got an SMS in the early morning that the package was out for delivery. Did not receive the package 2PM so I called the customer care to request if the package can be delivered soon as I leave office(had given office address) by 4 PM. Office would be closed on weekend and Monday was a holiday for Holi. It's a secure package which would be delivered only to the customer.
The customer care representative was rude and insulting. He just told me look we have other packages to be delivered and when your turn comes the delivery guy will deliver it to your address. I asked when that would be and he said before end of day. I explained to him that I would not be available at the address after 4 PM and he said we will deliver any time until 6.30 PM and hung up. Never dealt with such useless and unhelpful customer care service before.
Would recommend that you stay away from Aramex. Wonder why a large bank like HDFC would use Aramex.
