My wife was suffering from constipation and related troubles.
When the troubles increased we had visited Apollo.
She was referred to General Surgeon - Dr. Neelamekam.
He just had a look and advised to be admitted at the earliest for a surgery (cut a portion of the anal muscle). He had confirmed that the situation was already grave.
Fortunately we tried to get expert advice before committing.
That weekend we visited a general surgeon in home town (Trivandrum).
He made some alterations in her diet and suggested a few general reccommendations.
He was shocked to hear that a surgery was suggested on her - that it was not a bit serious - to even think of surgery.It has been a year now, and she has never had any issues related to that.
Thank God for the right decision at the right time.....
Avoid visiting Apollo hospital at any cost!
