I had only one encounter with them (in Bangalore), an I had found that they have some heart. They had admitted me when another hospital (See Manipal Hospital) thrown me out. They did what a doctor with
ethics and humanity should do in emergency.
On August (24th -25th) 2007 night I was taken to this hospital and the staff took my case seriously and did what a doctor must do. I am not a big FAN of big facility or instrument. If a doctor have a attitude to treat a patient he can do even without the those, and staff in Hospital id that. If a doctor only want money and concern for his own safety, and don’t take risk of treating a dying patient (That what they do in Manipal Hospital) then they should not be allowed to operate.
Me and my relatives had vowed to let people know the basic difference between the two hospital in the city (Bangalore). Apollo hospital has small branches around the city and once you reach there in a serious condition you are safe. They took me from Inner ring road branch to their Banargatta road branch in ambulance and was treated well.
I would like to mention before I was taken to Apollo Hospital, I was taken to Manipal Hospital before I was taken to Apollo, and thinking I might die Manipal Hospital staff threw me on their parking lot (Read my comment on Manipal Hospital).
