I would like to share my very disappointing/horrible experience with a company called-"Apollo Munich" for my mediclaim.
I was admitted in the hospital where my family physician visits n my family has been receiving treatment since years.I was admitted on 24thfeb 2016 for Hepatitis with severe vomitings and fever and was discharged on 28th Feb. The company was informed within 24 hours of admission. After my discharge, all the papers and reports were sent within a week as per the requirement. There was no response for 15 days from their side, however when I mailed they said delay due to holidays(ingenuinely).
After 1 month I received a mail that your claim is cancelled since they "feel" that hospitalisation was not required in my case.when I asked them to contact their"specialist" doc to my physician they kept silent.After repeated mails excuse changed to small mistake in pharmacy bill.
They are changing excuses after every 15 days.I appeal n highly recommend to not to get the policy done from this company! Preparing papers to launch complaint in IRDA coming week and also in consumer court.will fight to get justice till end.till then nobody should be trapped with this company!
