I like going on long bike rides, leading a nomadic life is something which I have always desired for. But there is one incident that completely changed my view towards life.
After having lunch at a nearby restaurant, I thought of going on a long bike ride. I was doing 110 km/ph on my karizma and I wasn’t wearing any helmet, suddenly I started having some vision problem; I saw a dark blur image in front of me. And that's the last thing I remember.
I woke up in a hospital, with a broken leg and a thick layer of bandage that was wrapped around my head. I could see my family, waiting outside the room. They came in, hugged me and told me the whole story. My dad said that the cops got me there;they told my family that I had gone down the road on my backside for about 85 ft and went face first into a stationery truck; cops considered me a fatality at the scene, they got me to the nearby Apollo Hospital; where doctors reacted on time and immediately took me for an urgent Ct-Scan. They discovered a depressed skull fracture;it was a break in a cranial bone(or "crushed" portion of skull) with depression of the bone in towards the brain. There I was operated upon by the neuro surgeons;they elevated the bony pieces to inspect the brain for evidence of any injury, which luckily they didn’t find.
I spent 3 months in the intensive care unit, where I was taken care of by the neuro specialists. My family and are really thank full to those cops and especially to those specialist doctors of Apollo, because it was due to there skill and knowledge that I survived this mishap and have lived to tell about it.
Thanx Apollo!
