This is not designed for the poor. They get lot of foreign patients from South Asia, Middle East and Africa.
Please bargain for your packages of treatments. For queries, please check with Patient Services departments and if required and necessary also please check with your doctors for the Pros and Cons and each details of your treatment packages. Please note, some diagnosis even costs more than Lakh rupees.
Most of the cases, the packages come with lot of exclusions. Please read and understand these carefully. Otherwise, based on the patients complexities this may end up with more than double of the initial package value and also have to stay for treatments and follow-up for 4-6 months and in some cases for 8 months.
For expensive medicines please buy from outside. Sometimes, 10 tablets comes with 10 tablets free and some of the 10 tables may costs Rupees 45000(Rupees forty five thousands). There are some donor organizations and NGOs who give the offer that buy 10 tablets and get 10 tablets. And these promotions can be availed only from outside medicine shop. Please ASK and check for this at your medicine shop/store.
Please always keep / retain all of your money receipts with you, suggested to file this properly for your own records. Otherwise some costs by mistake can be doubled. We had serious issues on this and later on it was discovered that Apollo charged us twice for one specific tests. Please read and go through each line items carefully.
Please always ask for detailed and itemized bills for each day for each category of items in order to avoid any kinds of surprises for you.
