I have been going to Apollo Bannerghattta for past 1 yr for my thyroid problem. They charge me almost Rs.1400 for Thyroid function test(TFT).
They do this by showing it as 3 separate test-for T3, T4 and TSH! I recently found out that other hospitals don't charge more than 700 Rs for the same test when I by chance compared notes with a relative who went to Fortis for the same.
I took both the bills and went to Apollo to question the 100% markup for the same tests. I insisted that they refund me immediately-I refused to be taken to any private room for'discussion' and insisted on talking to them'in public'.
They gave me some nonsense about'tariffs'. I told them that I will take this matter up and will go to social media if needed. They reimbursement me immediately. I am appalled at their attitude and greed and promised to never go there. Common practice of Apollo exploiting trust of people.
