Slow very very slow. Review on Apollo Clinic - Kaikondarahalli - Bangalore

A clinic shoould be able to process patients much faster as compared to a hospital. The processing at clinic vs a hospital should be similar to going to the next door grocery shop vs a mall. Problem w these branded clinics is that they are neither here nor there. They set up clinic next door but it works like a hospital. Even on a weekday the queue at the reception moves very slow.

The person at the reception takes 5 to 10 min processing a person. The expectation while visiting a clinic is to quickly meet the doc, take prescription, pay fee and walk out. But in these branded clinics they firstly try to find you in the database(in my case they are never able to) then they collect fee, then generate printout then they put it I a file then u sit outside the room to meet the doc. Compare this to doctlr's independent clinic. You walk in. No one tries to find out "is this your first time at this f*" clinic.

You wait for your turn. Doctor writes the prescription by hand. You pay the fee, the receipt for which is again written by hand or there is no receipt at all and you walk out.

I don't even know if all these branded clinics are able to bring in additional value as compared to independent clinics.

I prefer meeting the same doc in his/her independent clinic rather than these branded clinics.

The organizations must understand that you can't be a jack of all trades. You can be either a hospital or a clinic. You can be either a next door shop or a mall. You cannot be both. Because from the moment a hospital(or a mall) gets conceptualized its dna is that of a hospital and you can not change that.

Time to meet the doc now after a long wait!
