Saw the movie twice in theatres..watched it online...now will be buying its VCD from its official site. Fabulous movie...a concept thats very true.. awesome editing,special effects beautiful music and splendid acting(stupendous performance) I dont usually watch movies out but this one is worth the catch. the song ’’iyengar’’ art set was superb. simple yet superb.
The acting was no doubt fab espl The Actor - lead - Vikram & Also of Vivek - superb timing
the story has allowed all the actors as well as the technical people to put lot of their skills its been crafted really well ..recommended it to loads of people and all loved it.
Definitely technically (both machines & actors ) best performances.
The movie definitely kept me glued to the seat. after the first hour the story was getting pretty predictable but then the effects kept us wanting for more and its worth watching a MINIMUM of ONCE AT LEAST in theatres.
The lyrics of songs were 2 different from the usual but blended beautifully with the music.
Few shots might be seen by people as unwanted like ’’anniyan’’ flying - jumping on the top of car etc.. but hey it was a good and very nice way of exposing the public to the rapid strides made by technology in our country.
the locations all were awesome.
my fav scene was when all of them travel 2gether in TRAIN - the comdey was simply superb.
fight scenes - when its revealed about who anniyan is - with all the bad guys being chased by Ambi -anniyan at night -rains - drainage area.
the roses /flowers etc. in movie just B E A utiful - great locations.
lighting was also superb. it blended superbly with bg sounds.
compositing was cool - the site interface in the movie was great but could have been definitely improvised espl. those snakes...people covered with insects etc.. looked and felt like CG rather than an environment.
but honestly , all in all -
Definitely one of the best Indian Movies I have seen . Keep it up to the whole cast & crew of Anniyan. All the Best & God Bless!
