Anne French hair remover may sound like this product is from France and is really good, but this is one of the most horrible hair removal creams.
Every one should avoid it. I will start from the packaging, which is in a very fragile glass bottle that can break anytime. This makes it very risky if you are a careless person like me. The cream inside has a very strong smell like that of bleaching agents; I just don't like the way it smells. Feels like too many chemicals are concentrated in it.
Now the application of the cream is a real task. Although a spatula is provides for applying the cream, it is just impossible to spread the cream evenly. Plus it needs that you keep the cream on your skin for at least 10 to 15 minutes. Even after so much waiting, it won't remove all of the hair, and you will have to repeat the process, which is really irritating.
The 10 to 15 minutes of waiting will create skin irritation and is enough to cause permanent pigmentation. I had started to use Anne French and over a period of 6 months I started to realize that my skin was becoming patchy. No sort of hair removal is worth darkening my skin or making it look shabby. I'd rather prefer waxing or hair.
