I had the pleasure of visiting Goa in February 2010. I had always wanted a Tattoo done and had always known the design I wanted. Andy’s Tattoo studio was recommenced to me by friend and various travelers that I bumped into in Goa so choosing Andy was a no brainer. My first meeting with Andy was great, I showed him the design which he had no problems with, paid my deposit and had a time booked the following day. The studio is immaculate and is by far the cleanest place I saw in my entire India trip(this also includes comparison to a dental surgery I visited in Bangalore). The actual Tattoo itself was a breeze and took Andy just 45 minutes to complete. He is very competitively priced although not the cheapest in Anjuna but you certainly get what you pay for. He charges by the hour and the clock does not start until he fires up the needle so all the prep work is not costing you a penny. As for Tattoo skill, my design was relatively simple but some of the pictures in his portfolio were nothing short of amazing. The whole experience was very friendly, comfortable with some cracking tunes in the background playing on a quality sound system. Both Andy and his wife were extremely helpful with their advice on caring for my tattoo which healed without any issues. All in all, if you are in Goa and would like to get a tattoo then Andy is the only choice. As for all these accusations about him, although I only met the guy once I really cannot see this being in his character.
