Based in Aarah, this movie shows the real life struggles of a local singer Anaarkali. She is the main performer of her troupe and enjoys a star status in her area, with men drooling over her. Behind all the lustre, is a strong woman who belives in doing the right thing and does not bow down. Swara Bhaskar, Sanjay Mishraji and Pankaj Tripathi have played there respective parts very well. This movie should get nominated for big awards this year.
